Why is Quality of Life Important?

Quality of life is especially important for recipients of public assistance benefits.  It is often important to them because their program requirements impose strict financial limits on assets and income.

While public assistance provides the essential and basic care they would not receive otherwise, the strict financial limits insure that little, if anything, remains for day to day expenses that most of us take for granted.

How is Quality of Life Improved?

A Special Needs Trust can improve quality of life in any number of ways that will always be specific to an individual's special needs.

In the most general sense, a Special Needs Trust can improve quality of life by providing for all of the individuals needs that are not provided for by public assistance.
